I would think that you could buy whatever caliber you'd like, within reason. No Magnums, or super caliber's. If it seems like too much, you can buy a $30-50 Butt cushion, and a muzzlebreak for it. But it's good to see what everyone is putting, because my nephew turns 12 this year, and can't wait...

I'd hit that on any LE unit. Beautiful 5th's. 3rd's lack, but that happens. That 5th's make up for it.

If you are looking to get into Archery Hunting, I would maybe recommend a used bow. For a lefty, that may be a difficult task. But you can get a good feel for what it's like before you blow a couple paychecks on the higher end stuff.

I know Mossback fills their schedule pretty quickly. I would think that they take a lot of hunts in the "very well known for trophy bucks/bulls" regions. So if your region is a ways away, it might be more difficult to put the resources in to scout the area. BUT.. They should at least reply to...

It seems like people have really good experiences, or really bad experiences with Toxic's. I have heard some people saying they don't penetrate on Elk, but they mutilate a deer. So with a Bear.. I would assume that they would have a thicker hide, so I would be hesitant using them. Sweet looking...

Went on an Elk hunt there in 2014. TONS of spikes and 2-pointer's. I only saw one 3-point, and one 4-point. The 4-point was on the front side south of Monticello. But glass out with a spotting scope. Look up high near the peaks, or down off that Peak road on the front side.

I love Sportsmans. Big selection, and I don't feel like they have to up their price's to pay for their store like Cabela's. The people there are pretty friendly, and I feel like I had advantage of their return policy. They even told me how to take advantage of it.. But I always go there.
