FYI - Hey guys, I called the VC and asked when information would be sent out for those who were lucky enough to draw a VC tag. They said that orientation meeting letter would be sent out 4-6 weeks prior to your hunt. Good luck to all who drew and tag a nice one!!!....and have a safe and fun...

Stay at the La Cueva Lodge. 15 minutes from the VC gate and very comfortable. It's maybe $75/night for a room with fridge. Nice folks!

We had a guy on our 1st rifle hunt, from New York last year. So I guess the answer is yes. It is one of the best hunts I've EVER been on. It's that good!

At dark be sitting at Rincon south of Cerro Medio. Start glassing even though it's dark. The minute legal shooting light is available, be ready for a long shot as they head back to tree line. If no luck, get up as high as you can and glass A LOT!! Good luck!

Very, very, nice!!! I heard the ML hunt went great! My 1st rifle hunt was a freakin' challenge! The weather screwed up everything. The elk did not move Sat-Mon. Finally yesterday things got back to elk like. I tagged a little 6x6 yesterday morning. But it was TOUGH!!...and I'm thrilled...
