Then where do they go? That's what my original post asked. I have only been on one elk hunt in my life, so I'm not exactly up on their habits. Do they go to the thick stuff, deep canyons, etc..?

He is looking. I guess I should have said compared to the beginning of his hunt, when he could hear more bugles. They're trying their best, but the weather sucks. Saturday it's supposed to be better weather. Hopefully, he can get it done then.

Where do the elk go(generally speaking) when it is windy? I have a friend on an archery hunt in 5A and he says the wind is blowing 25-35mph! He said he can't find the bulls if he can't hear them bugle. I told him they are probably in the thick stuff out of the wind.

Does anyone on here have any experience with Wilderness Athlete's Altitude Advantage? Does this stuff really work or is it "Snake Oil?" I am heading to Utah in October and I am seriously thinking about trying it.

My buddy and I were having a heated debate on Sagebrush of all things. I was talking about Sage Honey. I may be wrong, but I thought Sage flavored Honey came from the Big Sagebrush Flower. My buddy says that the Sagebrush does not flower. I thought to myself, just about everything flowers...
