Last time I drew an antelope tag the proclamation said we could scout 48 hours before the hunt. The ranch owner where you're going to hunt may or may not be aware of this. It's always a good idea and call them to touch base after you get your info.

Welcome to NM! Santa Teresa offers a little different scenery then Western Montana that's for sure. This a great state for hunting. I lived in SE Idaho for 4 years and Idaho has some excellent hunting as well.

Yes it does have a pay at the pump feature but two of the last three times I was there it was malfunctioning and didn't work. The last time I had to pray real hard and luckily I made it to Magdalena. I wouldn't put all my eggs in that basket if I were you.
