The system is completely broken. I currently have 3 waiting. Two of which are at 388 days currently. I have purchased 5 before these ones waiting and first was in 2002 and never waited this long. Yet my neighbor who has never purchased one bought two in February and had them in may.

I have not personally but have a friend who did 2 years ago on the Kaibab for deer and said the entire experience was fantastic. He told me he’d be hiring them again for elk this year if they guide in the unit he was drawn for this year Thanks

largo, marathon and islamorada are all good for that stuff. almost every canal has snapper and other stuff to catch and can be done with a kayak. there are places to fish from shore around there also but they can be crowded on weekends with people from the Miami area. if you can rent a boat...

lots of places here in fl depending what your looking for. keys for best fishing but the west coast of fl from naples up to sarasota are all good areas., plenty to do and see and fishing can be great inshore and bottom fishing offshore

I am in the same boat as you with 11, i planned to use them long ago but have been very lucky in elk and other draws the last 4 years and hard to swing more that one hunt out west a year coming from south florida as i try to spend two weeks each trip.

looking for a good place to get a elk processed near the manti unit, normaly do it myself but have a second hunt and leaving right from one to the other and would like to possibly have it done and frozen before i hit the road. may find a way to bring a freezer and gen and still do it myself but...

Hunted 34 early archery last year , as it's been said before there are elk all over that unit. I saw no less than 12 a day. Had elk walk by my tent during the day the day before season opened. If I was rifle hunting I wouldn't look around west side road

Awesome pack, got one this past fall and can't speak highly enough of it. Top quality for sure. I hauled my elk solo and was blown away on how it handles a heavy load. Side note, they give a veteran discount and have a good podcast.
