128 deer ?

with the wolf hunting will it help the deer numbers and how long to recovery ?

My wife had that tag 2 years ago and from what I saw and heard from the locals I'm not sure wolves are a major cause of the deer decline in 128. but I'm sure shooting wolves can't hurt anything. we saw a few wolf tracks higher up on the USFS but didn't see any, what we did see was 3 lions in 3 different places and no 150+ bucks anywhere.


Cutting the tag numbers will probably help as much as shooting a few wolves.

I dont think the wolves have very much to do with the deer decline. They go after mostly moose and elk. Im sure they take a few deer when they get the chance though. The lions on the otherhand they are deer killin machines.
