16A Archery Deer

Hey all,

Just curious if anyone could share some info on archery hunting around the Kingman area? Never hunted it before and just looking for a different spot this year. Any general info would help, would like to get some scouting in but not sure where to start. Any info's greatly appreciated!

Steve,

The deer will be very well into the rut during January. You can find deer almost anywhere in 16A, but you are going to need to do some scouting.

Areas from I-40 down past Wikieup hold deer, the Hualpai Mountains hold deer & areas east of Yucca hold deer. It is a matter of scouting & finding where the deer are at when you get here. A lot depends on how the water & feed has been throughout the year.
