But for real I actually have a 16D tag, but don't wanna talk about elk.

Any local diners or cafes in the area that you all would recommend?

Ive not been out to that side of NM yet and I am antsy to explore.

Closest towns are Datil and Reserve. I have never eaten in Datil (not sure if there is a restaurant) but there is a good one in Reserve. Depending on where you are in D could be a short drive. Good luck.

There is a restaurant in Datil at the convenience store at the intersection. But Reserve would be closer to most of 16D.

ICY!!!!! Reserve has two good diners ! Eagle guest ranch in Datil is super good! Kill a big one!

Ellas cafe is always good after a nice shower at Apache creek every 3-4 days..... to bad they stopped serving breakfast after 11
