This is the buck that I took last week in Wyoming. We hunted in some of the worst weather I have ever been in. We were lucky enough to watch this buck the night before the opener for a couple of hours. He moved a little during the night but I was able to relocate him and knock him down opening morning. His antlers are very heavy and unique with a cheater off of the 3-point side. In addition to the eyeguards he has several other points coming off the bases. He was also the largest bodied deer I have ever seen. Even with the terrible weather it turned out to be a great hunt.

Awesome buck!!!!

Can I ask where you were at? I'm heading out tomorrow(I'm dying here - I'm so anxious) to region H. I'll be hunting up on Grayback ridge...

Congrats!!!

Great Buck!! We also hunted opening day(15th) last weekend in the Wyoming Range and the weather there was miserable also. I was disappointed in the small bucks we saw though. Looks like you weren't disappointed!! Glad to see quality bucks like that still coming out of Wyoming during the drought.

Nice buck Antlersinc. You did a lot better than me on opening day. The weather definitely didn't work toward our advantage. Nice country....Looks high! P.S. You know me from the lodge in Alaska. We talked sheds.....

Beautiful buck! Looks like sticky out the cold and wet weather paid off once again. Glad that your hunt was a success. Great buck.

You gotta be happy with tha one! The weather looks like it was perfect! You gotta love deer hunting in fresh snow. Fog....not so much.

Justin,

Thanks for the response. It was good to hear from you. Let me know how the rest of your hunt went.
