The DWR website has a list of proposed changes to the 2011 big game hunting seasons to be discussed at upcoming RAC meetings. Just wondering what the opinions are out there about the changes.

Muzzleloader deer in between two rifle hunts in the middle of October??? Stupid! Who would want to participate in this hunt? I am an avid Muzzleloader guy (choice of weapon since 1988) and I would have no desire for this hunt. Let the Muzzy hunters go first or last (before the centerfire rifles kill lots of the bucks, or when the bucks are closer to rutting toward the end of Oct).
I'd like to see the LE Any Weapon Elk hunts pushed back about 3 more days...give the MUZZY hunters 7 days and end it. The overlapping hunt is kind of lame. I really like the Archery, Muzz, Rifle sequence of the hunt.
