211 archery deer

Short version,

Gave my 15 year old info on units to look at fcfs to pick up. 211 was not one that I told him I was familiar with but he bought an archery deer tag. I’ve never stepped foot in the unit and looking for whatever info I can get. Pm if you can help. Willing to trade info for other units.

Tough deer hunt. I would use the trip to look for rams. You will find them while glassing. Get him excited and make that a possible sheep hunt unit to choose in later years. My guess is you see more sheep than deer if you spend the time glassing. Keep us posted.

It’s about what you described. Lot of miles on, not many deer. We had a blast though.

I know a guy who had that tag and got in a bachelor herd of 38 bucks.

But it's a tough hunt. You can kill a giant there though
