Cabel's in RENO had gotten a shipment last month, a friend happened to be in store and was talking to a salesman and another employee came out with a large box and opened it. Asked if Bob needed any 22LR and he said let me think a minute. He called our other friend back here and he said get me a brick if they will sell them that way.....Bob bought one brick and then had his gal friend buy another. Cost was something like $26 a brick.

Sportmans warehouse gets a shipment once a week. Find out what morning they go on sale at your local store, and get there at least 2 hours before they open and you can still get bricks of 500 for the area of $25. They sell out quick though, so get in line early.
 
Buying every little bit you come across just to put it in the basement doesn't help the cost or demand. I know a least a dozen people who have over 15000, yes 15,000, in their basements and are sill buying it every chance they get.
 
If a guy can get to Wal-Mart early you can get 325 rounds for $10-15 and couple weeks ago I bought 1600 rounds of cci for $129

nfh.....In Kali there are NO WALMART STORES with ammo or rifles as they got in deep dudu a few years back for not keeping a log on what and who bought rifles....so all stores have no guns and very little ammo. Shotgun shells no problem.

I ordered some from Cabelas last year over the phone before the Connecticut deal.

I STILL HAVE NOT GOT IT!!!

I get an email every month or so telling me it will be there in a month or so.

Still not showed up.

I bet they have sold a ton of it at a higher price, but, they still have not shipped mine.

I'm sitting on a least half a dozen bricks and bunches of singles so i'll not be paying exorbitant prices any time here soon. I got some of mine several months ago between $23-$30 a brick depending what it was, and a guy might think that the manufactures were making a profit of their products at those prices.

I think most of the ammo prices now are the result of scare tactics to have reason to inflate prices and i'll not ever play that game. I gotta believe that the ammo is being made and that prices will fairly soon be coming back down to earth.

How our Government plans to keep us from buying it is a whole nother issue!

Well elkassassin any luck???????? I just bought a 555 round box for $34 bucks. Way to much but I don't see it getting better prices. If I hit Wal-Mart right I can get 325 rounds for 10-15 bucks

I can find it no problem its just the price is to high. All the tactical stores have 325 round boxes for 25-30 dollars when Wal-Mart has it for 10-15 dollars.

If I drive to billings Mt. I can it find 550 round boxes for 25 dollars.

I hate to spend that much but I bought a lot of it just in case if something happens again I will plenty stocked and I also shoot a lot of it to

Cabelas still has not sent me the .22 ammo I ordered last Dec. They send me an email every month saying it is on back order. What a bunch of BS.
