221-223 mid info

I drew this deer tag, but have never hunted or scouted the unit, or NV for that matter. Any advice would be much appreciated. I live on the Idaho-Wyoming border and will trade info on this area, also the Frank Church Wilderness for deer, elk, sheep. Thanks

I too drew this tag for deer early and actually the elk early as well, got luckier than hell. I have a family member that guided elk for a Nevada outfitter there several years ago with some good jumping off points and we will be scouting a lot as well. I would be more than happy to share what we learn from scouting and after my early deer hunt.

Can't go wrong in Mule Shoe! 221-223 are the best units in Nv IMO...

I agree with Mule shoe great place to start. Although a lot of wilderness area check out the west side of the patterson pass area. Mid season hunt they will be crossing the road all morning.
