231 late

Hello all,
I got lucky and drew a 231 late bull tag this year. I have been up scouting a few times this year. Have not hunted this area for bulls before so just wondering if anyone has any pointers on areas to go look at.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I hunted deer in 231 a few years ago. Saw several nice bulls. I would be happy to share where I saw them elk.

I pulled a nice bull out of 23 last year. We started at white rock and saw nothing but horses. Hunted the Mt Wilson area high and low with no sign, Finally found him off the Hacketts ranch road up high south east of white rock. The road is Off rose valley rd between echo and eagle valley. I believe it’s called deer lodge road. If all else fails check the low fields between Pioche and Mt Wilson Turn off On 93 fwy. The elk cross the fields early morning heading into the trees between the fields and the 93 fwy.

Good luck on your hunt. If all else fails , Geyser Ranch area should guarantee you a bull.

Deep rugged canyons and quaking aspens up on Mt. Wilson around the FAA and telephone co. towers will have a few bulls.
