Randy, we are going in pretty much cold. I hunted the gravellies many many years ago by Ennis. Of course I did not expect to draw the tag with 14 points. I think the odds were 2%.
I selected the unit, only on the advice that it was a hunt that could be done with outfitters or horses. I will be getting some info from Tyler at HF and plan on calling some previous hunters if there are any. I welcome any suggestions anyone may have. I can offer my experience in NM, and can honestly say I have helped many people that have asked in the past in units/hunts I am familiar with.
Antelope hunting and Mt. Goat hunting was not something I would put together, but, that is pretty cool.
