$382,000 Elk Tag

I just go back from the RMEF convention in Las Vegas. The Arizona Governors Elk Tag went for $382,000.00. That is the highest amount I have ever heard of for a single tag.

Nope. Montana statewide bighorn went for 485,000 bucks I believe. For an elk tag that may be a record, I don't know. mtmuley

Right. Forgot about the sheep tags. It may be the highest for an elk tag.

Wow! That seems about $100-$150K higher than what it usually sells for. There's always some great bulls to be found, but I'm somewhat surprised being it's not an exceptional moisture year yet.

I'll tell you something really crazy. The livestock show and rodeo is happening here right now and somebody bought a bottle of wine at one of the auctions over the weekend for $215,000. No lie.
