3C Cow Elk Hunt

would love some help on the unit for cow elk this time of year.

What time of year? Alot of cows will move into the cedars after the rut.

The hunt opens this Friday.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-17-12 AT 07:42PM (MST)[p]just take the 300 rd that runs along the north edge of the reservation - lots of new tanks in the area . also watch for places where the fence is broken down from the elk - they travel early and late - spot / stalk in the mornings and find a tank with good sign and sit till DEAD dark in the evenings- they come in last 5 minutes usually
