4, 48, 49, 67 muzzy elk

Does anyone have any info they are willing to share on these units? Good or bad. 2 or 3 years from drawing just thinking these units may be worth checking out. Thanks for your help.

Buffalo Peaks wilderness is always a good time in 49. There is a spot in 48 that I found very impressive for mature 6-points. How big a bull are you looking for?

I would like to have a chance at something over 300, but the quality of the hunt is more important than the animal taken.

I have never hunted it but did some scouting in 49 and I concur that you could do well in the buffalo peaks wilderness. I doesn't take that many points to draw a bow, muzzy or 1st rifle tag. Those would be my choices.

I'm planning on hunting Unit 49 muzz. this year. I'll be happy to fill you in on how it goes. I've never hunted it before. I've gained a little knowledge from a couple of guys that have hunted it in the past. I also talked with the biologist. I think that the wilderness is where I'll be. If I knew anything of the units I would gladly share. I'm just getting started in the research and want to narrow it down to 1 or 2 units then get specific. how much pressure do any of the above mentioned units get?
