45 Deer

I drew a smoke pole deer tag I'm a little familiar with this unit. Just wondering who has hunted Rowe Mesa and how did you do. No honey holes just a lil advise.

I'm pretty sure Rowe Mesa is Unit 43. Unit 45 is in the Pecos/Las Vegas Forest.

Row mesa is not in unit 45. Deer numbers are pretty strong but tons of pressure on the roads. If it were my tag I would concentrate more towards Hyde park just below the Santa Fe Ski Basin. Huge unit, if you want a big one start scouting early and often.

As the others said, RM is NOT unit 45.
I'd either go into the wilderness from Panchuela or hit the Santa Fe side as already mentioned. Going in from Santa Barbara/ Truchas side is another option
