Hi folks, heading up next week to see if I can help four youth hunters (two first timers) fill some cow elk tags and I was curious how the conditions were in the unit this year with the incredible monsoon rains. I've been helping out on this youth hunt for 10+ years so I have plenty of spots that I'm familiar with, but since I can't make it up scouting this year due to coaching youth football I'd be interested to hear if the road conditions are ok across the unit and if the elk patterns were similar to previous years. At the very least I'm expecting some fat cows this year.
