My uncle had the tag. He hunted hard and looked over 80 different bucks. Passed on three mid-180 class bucks. Helped an older gentleman kill one of the three. Was hoping to turn something up in the 190+ range since he has killed quite a few nice 180-class bucks but never found one. He even had access to some private property hoping it would help but the lack of bad weather kept the high-country big bucks up high.
In other words, he ate his tag.
