4th season Elk tag questions,

before I had posted a question about a unit, however, I had read my results wrong. I could use some suggestions on units 75, 77, 78, 751, & 771. I know it's a lot, but any help in in regards to where to start looking for nice bulls will help. I'm not afraid to do a lot of hiking to find my bull.

I hunted in 75, 751 4th for deer last
year and seen very few elk, That time of
year depending on weather they seem to
be in a transition zone, almost down to
the private, around 8500 feet in elevation.

During the deer hunt 90 percent of the deer
are 7500 and lower around the agriculture.

I had a friend hunt above vallecito resevoir
4th season elk last year, he lives in Ignacio,
and they struggled to find elk.

I dont know much about further east, but get
in touch with the biologist for the area
he can help.
