Starting to try and plan out my year. My dad is right on the border of drawing 71 4th for deer. His mobility is on the lower end right now. He is getting a knee replacement end of January so I'm hoping that helps some. Since after a few days of walking his knee is killing him I was thinking a 5 day 4th season hunt would probably be best since he won't be able to utilize all the days on a 3rd season hunt due to possible mobility issues.
Anyway I was curious what the 4th season hunt in 71 was like? The type of terrain, if you have to hunt around private that time of year, road density, deer density, etc.
He of course would like to shoot a big buck but it's more about the hunt for him then the size of the animal.
Any info about the hunt in general I would appreciate.
