Today is the MIL's scheduled Thursday afternoon cards and hair appointment at the Senior Center. When you're at the store, and have absolutely no idea what to do for dinner, and the baker brings out fresh hot bread - Sub sandwiches!!! Deli sliced turkey, already-cooked package bacon, provolone, and Lay's BBQ chips. Need to re-fill the banana peppers supply. Sometimes you just need to take a break from the kitchen.

You needed some hot peppers on there, some fresh Serrano's or Jalapenos.

I just really like the pickled jalepenos. I can adjust the heat with my Tabasco or other sauces.

I use the pickled ones on my sandwiches & in homemade salads as well. We buy the giant jar at Costco for keeping in the storage fridge & transfer needed amount to a smaller jar in the kitchen fridge for every day use.
