A Zone Closures

Do you guys think that there will be a lot of forrest closures in the A zone down near Santa Ynez/Buellton where there were big fires? It always seems like the F&G closes parts of the forrest for no apparent reason. Just curious.

Actually, Fish & Game have nothing to do with closing ANY national forest........that's a decision made by the liberal ran National Forest Service in our lovely state. Time will tell, but it seems to me we've had more rainfall this year than in years past.....however, I can see the USFS trying to close fire impacted areas for "restoration" reasons....whatever that means.

For the last couple of years, we've made sure to call F&G before setting up a hunt. They have been good about letting us know what is closed. It seems like theres never any rhyme or reason to close a specific area instead of another. It really sucks to plan a hunt and then come to a locked gate! Thanks for the info BOHNTR.
