Well i just wanted to put my two cents in on all this we should do this we should do that. This year I seen the biggest deer I have ever seen. It was on public land and on the ROAD. I also seen a few nice bucks all were in the southern unit. From what I have read was totally wiped out this winter. Well from what I can tell is that there are still deer here they have maybe just evolved a little so you cant just drive up the canyon and get one, like it was when I started hunting (16 years ago). Fropm what I have seen they are not any where close to the roads, for the most part and if you hump it in you will see deer

I do ageee 100% with you though. I See lots of deer when I get off the road and hike around for a while. It just my be that the deer might "EVOLVE" a bit and stay away from the roads.
