Here?s that crazy horned elk from AZ this year. Mrs Sikora just seen the frontal picture Or this guy and said not on my walls.
Any ideas what would be a good idea to do with the horns and if anyone needs a cape just pay the taxi bill and you can have it not sure what one cost to be tanned though..

He already had his skull cape cut though. Is there a skull kit with out cutting the horns like their sheds?

Check out a Mountain Mike?s Skull Master kit. Not as impressive as a real skull but it might do the trick

Go on a cougar hunt. Kill a giant tom. Make the skull look like an old kill with cougar's front paw up on the beam raising up to look around at what's disturbing him. Muy Macho!

Congrats on a cool bull.
 
Tristate can correct me if I'm wrong, but with that damaged pedicel and odd place his horn grew from that cape may be difficult to use on another bull. Congrats by the way, cool lookin bull Joe!

Yep that cape wouldn't work very well on a different bull.
 
I'd always do a shoulder mount and that's a cool bull very worthy of one. Euro mounts to me just look like you picked up a deadhead and stuck it on the wall.

Remember Europeans gave us roundabouts, UGH.:D

Yup nope yup! 12 I agree that Joe's elk would make a great shoulder mount. I strongly disagree that euro mounts look like a picked up dead head (I have 3). And, I hate roundabouts also. Nice WT you took this year. Make sure to share pics of the shoulder mount on it. :)
 
LAST EDITED ON Nov-20-19 AT 12:52PM (MST)[p]I know a lot of people like them I just don't. I've got 41 whitetail, 6 mule deer and 2 elk - all shoulder mounts and the one I just killed is at the Taxidermist. :D I'll post a picture when he's done.

I agree. Since you've already cut the skull cap, I'm guessing the best option is the skull cap on a plaque. However, I'm guessing a good taxidermist could make another cape work. Tri would know.
 
A friend has a similar bull. He did a shoulder mount with a full right turn. His wife didn't want it in the house either. It is in the garage and their car still fits.

JDelk, oh I'm sure thats where this one would be. LOL
We have down side 75% so we don't have all the wall space as before. I have 14 points going into the Utah draw in 2020 so and I'd think that one would probably make a better wall hanger. Anywhere that's what Mrs a Sikora told me. ?

We have a Indian expo in my area, so I'm going to see if they would to do some horse trading to get some very jewelry etc for Christmas presents for the family

Yeah cool bull! Do a full body - a laying down pose, like you have there in the pic, would be badass! COOL looking bull.
