Any Suggestions

My buddy wants to get his dad an Elk hunt this fall for his 81st Birthday. His dad lives in Wisconsin and has never hunted in any other state. He was thinking of trying to get a hunt where his dad could hunt Elk and he could go along and hunt deer. He was thinking Colorado. His dad is in average shape, but as many over 80, he does have health issues. He is not looking for any monsters, would be happy if his dad could get a "nice" average elk, and he could take a decent buck.

So anyone have any suggestions?

That's who I'd recommend tags still left over for deer and elk and high rates of success. Capable of accommodating most hunter limitations and abilities. Just if they have any openings is the real issue with them. Good luck...

You also might look at the Colorado Outfitters Association at coloradooutfitters.org, there are some good hunts still available this year.
