Aoudad/Barbary sheep meat?

I was wondering if any of you have tried any at aoudad meat and what your opinion is on it.

My two friends and i shot three during a hunt last year. I gave all of my meat to another friend since i heard that they don't taste too good. All three guys commented on how great they tasted.

Kind of sidetracking but I ate some grilled sheep shot in Hawaii and to my surprise ir was not bad......actually better than the average sage brush venison.

The barbary I killed in NM tasted fine. It was not an old ram though. Crock pot can render most meat edible with the right amount of spices, herbs, and marinade.
