My dad drew area 15 in the guide draw. First rifle. He’s 75 years old and it’s been a while since he shot a good mule deer.
It goes without saying that he has to hunt with this guide but I was considering possibly drawing the archery tag and doubling for some scouting to his benefit.
I’ve hunted a handful of units in Nevada over the last 12 years, but never area 15. In fact I’ve never even looked at it for consideration for whatever reason I don’t know.
I’ve done some searching online I haven’t found a lot of information about area 15 which is possibly good maybe not.
My interest is more about the country, terrain, habitat, water, deer numbers etc. I would imagine like most units in Nevada during august 100 degree temps are very possibly. How does this unit compare to area 6 or 035?
putting a specific unit number online is always a touchy situation which may not be in your best interest.
