Area 10 late archery

Our season is just around the corner and we're still debating on which area we should hunt. should we hunt the ruby valley? east humbolts? or southern areas closer to highway 50? We'd like to hunt the southern areas as they are closer to home and probably less people to contend with but at the same time it sounds like most of the deer will be quite a bit north of there? anybody have any insight for us. anybody with a late rifle tag that wants to share their findings once they're hunt is over? hezzy, i used to help with hunts back in the early 80's, both north and south of secret pass. Our season back then went to Nov 15th and those last few days were like magic. No matter where you hunt, look for pockets of Does among vast acres that held few deer. Check them every day, you might like what you find when there were only smallish bucks with them the day before.

Thanks for the advice! I plan on covering some ground the first day or two and settling in on a area I find good deer numbers in. after that i hope some good weather and the rut will bring out some of the bigger boys.
