Area 19 Type 2 Elk

Anyone had this tag in the last couple years. It looks like the draw odds for a type 2 tag are quite a bit better than a type 1. I'm primarily interested in type 2 for Sept archery hunting and think this might be the way to go. Just wondering if a type 2 rifle hunt is worth a hoot in case the archery hunt doesn't pan out.

No type 2 guys wanting to spill? Assume that means the rifle hunt is comparable to type 1 and is probably the way to go given the odds are quite a bit better than the type 1 draw...

My understanding is that Type 2 is just like Type 1. If you have permission on the Lone Star it'll be good. Good luck with getting permission.
