Arizona Rain?

How is northern Arizona doing on rainfall,and do you expect a good archery elk season? Thanks,Guys!

So far Arizona is way below normal in precipitation. Up until December we had the driest reporting on record since the 1800's. We had a good storm a month ago, and they're expecting another this week. Hopefully we'll get more soon, we need it! If we get a decent winter and a good monsoon the archery elk hunt should be good. If not it will be slower making for a tough hunt. The next three months will say a lot about what kind of hunting and antler growth we can expect next fall!

the news stations reported that the south rim got 55" of snow. here in Tusayan, there is a BUNCH! it is forecasted that we will be seeing more this afternoon into thurs. i would guess that that the FS roads will remain closed thru march.
