O.K. so here's the story. The first day found us in a spot far to popular for my likeing. There was so much shooting going on I felt like I was back in Iraq in March. We saw one spike and about 30 cows that day, so me and my dad went to a small Mtn. north of our camp on Saterday the second day. We decided to climb up the mtn. thinking that maybe we could get a look around. On the way up we were hearing a clicking sound every so often we thought it might be antlers in the trees so I peeked around a tree and at the top of the hill there he stood broadside and all. I caught the gleam off the back of his antlers and took the shot. Double lung spegetti sauce, he didn't go 20 yards from where he was shot he never even saw us. The real work was getting him back down the mtn., but it was more than worth it and I can't wait to do it again!
