B zones 2012

[Cali4x4]

Went bow hunting in my usual B zone area that was not affected by any fires. Did not see much in the way of deer, bear etc. What has everyone else seen this year?

Acorns dropping already...any farmers almanac prediction for an
winter or EL nino?

goatroper, I think all your oak trees are on fire (east of Covelo).

I haven't heard of much success in the B zones yet. Lots of us are still salmon fishing until this hot weather breaks. I caught a couple 20lbs Saturday. I still haven't gotten sea sick either. YAHOO!

That salmon fishing has been off the hook! Full limits every trip this year and they just keep getting bigger. My friend boated a 44" last Saturday right off the south jetty. Now if I could just get another halibut in my boat. We did get one about 68lbs but have been on a dry spell as of late. Good luck to you this season.
