Found my old Blue Tick Coon Hound
dead in the yard. She was sixteen and
seven months old. She was a damned good
freind of mine. She had three legs, was missing
her passanger side rear since she was about 6 mo.
old. Never knew the difference. Thought that's how
many you're supposed to have. Could swim like a fish,
chase coon's and fox like they were out of style, run
pretty damned fast for a dog with three legs.
I used to float on the tank (pond) and she would swim
out to me and around and around. She was way cool.
I like dog's better than some people. Sure'nuf this one.
I'll miss you Banjo.

Sorry to hear about your loss of a friend. Losing a friend like Banjo is as bad as losing a child, very hard and mainly after so many years. He is a peace now.

Let's go banjo ring-a-ling-a-ding-ho! Give a little hoot and a holler!

Sorry if the previous post sounded a little flippant. Didn't mean to make light of the situation - it was actually meant as a tribute. My little sister (TripleK) just chewed me out for it. Hope there were no misunderstanding.

Sorry for your loss.

I liked it Roy. Thanks.
I was down in your part of the
country (Austin) the other day for
a meeting. Came down 183 then Mopac.
Traffic just keeps getting lighter and lighter.
Before long, won't be no traffic a'tall.

You will see her again my friend.

My Great Grandmother in Old Mexico used to tell us that our pets were the ones that showed us the path to heaven. When her tail is wagging and her tongue is lapping at your face, you will know you are in good hands.

I don't wish losing a good dog on anyone. May she run wild and free, swim to her hearts content wherever she is.
