Bear baiters

How?s your luck going? As of Monday I don't have any activity on my baits. Ended up pulling one and re-registered a new site. Hopefully my luck will change. Anyone else having the same issue? Do you have bears hitting your baits?

3 small bears as of tonight and by small I mean 100lbs small

I have yet to be visited by or get a picture of a single bear so far. Nothing other than a few crows and squirrels have paid either of my bait piles any attention. I thought I had plenty of scent and there's definitely plenty of bait; cherry coolaid/sugar covered popcorn, breads covered with blueberry bacon syrup and molasses, COB with molasses mixed with pancake syrup and corn syrup and old grease mixed with some carmel extract for scent... I'm just starting to wonder what I've missed or not done since nothing is happening. Do I just need to be more patient? Get more scent up in the air? Anyway, good luck to you, hopefully something comes in soon!

I ended up shooting a nice color phase bear yesterday. Let me know if I can help. What unit are you hunting?

Congrats young!!! I finally had a bear show up and was able to get it done this week. Not a big bear but a gorgeous blonde.

Great job young on a awesome bear!!! I finally had one come in this week. My wife was with me as well so it was an awesome experience for her and me. I can't believe how blonde this bear is.

Congrats on an awesome bear!! Nothing better than a blonde bear in my opinion. Congrats glad that people are starting to knock them down!! I'm new to bear hunting and can't get enough of it already! Boar or sow?

We were able to get it done yesterday on a pretty good, color phase boar. The action seemed to be picking up for us quite a bit.

I got a big Sow this week. I'm new to bear hunting as well, I was sure she was a decent boar looking at the trail cam pics, and the 4 1/2" pad she had. Still the biggest bear I had on camera, and I am happy. Hunt was a lot funner than I anticipated it would be.

I had the South Slope Vernal tag.
