Can someone point me to a unit with sufficient public access for bear that would offer a good opportunity. I am going to have about a week to hunt in any of the three states and I didn't draw a tag,,,, so I am open to suggestions. I was thinking of bear or antelope. I would love to hunt lion, but the cost of a guided hunt is just out of my reach for this trip - unless you know of a hunter with dogs that is willing to take me along for a reasonable fee. Todd, What your are asking would be illegal in Colorado. It is not legal for a houndsman other than a guide to take you for lions for any type of fee or trade, including just paying for his gas.
