As the 17th of May draws closer I'm starting to get squirmy. I've been wondering if anyone has any current information on spring bear sighting on Revillagigedo or POW Islands. Do the bear on these island come out of their winter dens about the same time every year or are their habits highly weather dependent.
It sounds like the snow pack has been relatively light list year, would that mean the black bear are already out feeding or still waiting for warmer weather?
