A guy I know wants to sell me his Black Widow Bow. It has Two extra limbs. They are around 48 lbs at 28" pull. Do any of you know anything about these bow's? Are they good?

Black Widow bows were the premier recurve bows in the '80 and '90s. I believe (don't quote me) they were handmade. Check out some auction sites and you will see them going for several hundred dollars. Do your research, but IMHO they are great bows.

Top of the line recurves. Check directly with them and see exactly what the guy is selling. Or go to the traditional archery site "Leatherwall" and ask there.

Get the serial # from the guy and call Roger at Black Widow, he can tell you what you want to know about the bow, ie. model, date when made, and woods used. Let us know, I'm always on the lookout for another one!
