My Son has a rifle tag for Bonanza and we've ben out once to get the lay of the land and should get out one more time closer to September to scout it out a little further. My question is for anyone familiar with the area as to what are relistic expectations on size. What we have seen so far with quite a bit of time behind glass was maybe a 72" goat at best and probably closer to 70. Really didn't see anything that got us very worked up. Don't get me wrong, we will have fun and be happy just to get out and play around in antelpoe country together and probably fish a fair amount while we are at it. Just wondering if thats about what we should expect?

What you state is typical. Not much for trophy quality out there. 75" is a stud. Pretty decent group east of Jenson lately. Better than years past.
