Hello,

Can you surrender your tag prior to season and get your BP's reinstated in Nevada?

Yes if you look in the hunt app book there is an explanation as to what you can get back depending on the point at which you return your tag. I think you have up to the day before the hunt to return it and get your points back but I think you need a medical reason to get both money and poinst back. look in the app book it will explain it better than I can.

A Dr. Slip (just like in school) sent back in before the start of the season and you get your points +1 for that year reinstated and YOU GET your money back too....without a Dr. Slip you get your points BUT NO MONEY.
I found out that back in 2011 when I came down with GOUT in right foot, no way to walk that season. I made the deadline by a DAY. It was a Unit 7 Deer tag.
