Well my 15yr old daughter drew the riffle tag and Utah hunt expo, lucky kid. I have never hunted it, I will be scouting, I was just wondering if you guys had any help/info to put me in the right direction.

Wait, it was fun, I drew the same tag at the expo last year. Very fun. Lots of big bucks?? Nope. Lots of nice bucks. Yep.

Also you mentioned you would be scouting. The deer are up on the divide until early October. They will migrate lower for your hunt. It wont hurt to go look around but I think your real scouting will be the few days just before your hunt.

Summer time scouting will get you use to the roads and where your glassing spots will be.
Plus you can find a camping spot.
