I guess I could settle this whole thing, I have a tag in my pocket that says its good today and the next week or two if I want to drive all the way back up there to put an aroow through that tough old chewy bastard. I actually figured he was a 345-350 bull, but thats just me. I'm not the best elk judge, but I have a couple of sheds from that region, maybe even that bull that are pretty tasty, and thats what they officially measure out at. He would be pretty hard to take, but he is still rutting strong, and its the middle of November. He has about 40-50 cows with him plus those 7 other bulls. He would be hard to get into bow range on, but he feeds inthe same area every day, and beds in the same spot, so I probably could ambush him. Who wants to help me pack that hawg out. You could keep most of that stinky meat, my freezer is full. ; )
No, thats not where my wife got her bull, that was here in Yakima, about 5 hours away.
