Boulder/Plateau Ut goats

Does anyone have good info on areas in the the boulder plateau antelope unit. My wife drew a tag this year but I see that 119 others drew the same tag for the first rifle season alone. I am worried about over crowding and not enough goats to go around. Looking for a nice 15" + buck if I can locate one.

Vertical, not much help for you regarding the unit itself, but having had a tag many times in other units, I can tell you this-find a map and scout away from the pavement and good dirt roads. I've found that most folks drive the pavement and really good dirt and shoot the first decent buck they see. I've never seen another hunter by getting away from the roads.

Nothing wrong with hoofing it for a speedgoat.
