breech plug stuck :(

I recieved a cva inline for doing some work the only problem is the breech plug is stuck. Is there any tricks to loosen it up. I was told that it was not sprayed with anti cease when the guy shot it last. im open to any suggestions thanks

LAST EDITED ON Dec-15-02 AT 11:56AM (MST)[p]A soak in penetrating lube, Ballistol is good, should help. Plug the flash channel, flood it and let it sit for a few days. Don't get in a hurry, give the lube time to work. Tapping the end of the breech plug lightly with a brass faced hammer may help. If that doesn't work, place the entire barrell in the freezer for a few hours. The cold will cause the steel to contract at different rates and the plug should loosen enough to remove.

Knight makes an extra long breech plug tool that could give you extra tork. If it fits a CVA? I don't know?
