You know, this thread is a love/hate thing with me.
To be totally honest, I kind of put it up because deerslayer88 is constantly bashing Californians here on MonsterMuleys and I wanted to show that in reality some of our lives are quite enviable.
I'll guarantee he isn't catching gorgeous fish like we do.
I'll bet he isn't killing two bucks a year on OTC tags every year either.
He probably doesn't have nice bucks, turkeys, quail, coyotes and even mountain lions cruising through his property with regularity either.
No, I'm both proud and ashamed at the same time of where I live.
I've raised one hell of a hunter and fisherman, he's better than I am in so many ways and words simply cannot express my love, pride and awe that I have for what we've accomplished together over the years, it's simply amazing.
I'm so glad that so many of you here at MonsterMuleys have enjoyed what I've been able to capture and share in pixels over the years, it is truly what embodies my soul.
I apologize for the majority of my California countrymen and their beliefs, but I only hope that when those of you that you disparage Californians on a regular basis, realize that it isn't all of us here that are so horribly wrong in our political and moral composure and that regardless of our political leadership that there is still a quality life to be had here.
