Just got off the phone with the Forest Service and they have closed the Canjilon Lakes to fishing and the campgrounds to hunting for the next couple of years.
They have contracted to have the dead/dying trees removed and will be making other improvements.
So no fishing or camping at the Canjilon Lakes for a couple of years and the area that's closed off around the lakes and campgrounds is also closed off to hunting.
