any one ever herd or seen hogs on capitan mtn. goin be up turkey hunting tryin shoot my new bow at some new stuff

You know I have seen hogs down there myself. I also met some folks that were down there running hogs with their dogs during bear season. If you know someone with dogs you can hunt those things year round. I wouldnt mind my dogs chasing one down if I get a chance to bear hunt down there this year.

Yes, there are wild hogs on, or near Capitan, we killed several last year during deer season. Be careful though, the word is that several were trapped and tested. All came back positive for psudo rabies. I'm not sure if that makes them unsafe to eat or not but I'm not going to chance it.
