Colorado 3rd Season Units 54 and 551

Hey guys. My brother in law and I are thinking about burning our preference points on a third season hunt this year. We are leaning toward Units 54 or 551. Have any of you guys hunted these units in the last few years? How were deer numbers? How was the access and pressure? We hoping to hunt hard, look over lots of deer and have a chance at a nice buck. I've been hunting elk in 551 for the past few years. I had a buck tag for muzzle loader last season. I hunted 10 days and saw very few deer. Only saw 2 bucks that were shooters and blew the stalk on one - ate tag soup. I don't know what 54 is like these days, but I would have to think it's better than 551.
